Henry Kopp
Henry is a Computer Science major in the Class of 2027 at Penn State University from York, Pennsylvania.
This summer, Henry is participating in the PIPELINE Program and conducting research focused on using large language models (LLMs) to create a dynamic handshake and message encoding system for encrypted communication. His project explores how AI systems can securely communicate with one another through encoded messages.
Outside of research, Henry is a competitive strength athlete who has been powerlifting for five years and recently began competing in strongman. He also enjoys cooking and running.
At Penn State, Henry has been a member of the Penn State Club Powerlifting Team throughout his college career, serving in leadership roles and preparing to become the team's President and Head Coach this fall. He is also a member of Red Cell Analytics.
After graduation, Henry hopes to commission and serve as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Through PIPELINE, he is excited to gain experience conducting research, contribute to projects that may have an impact, and learn from the collaborative engineering environment around him.
