Corinne is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania. In her free time, she enjoys running, fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. She is passionate about solving real-world problems through engineering and is eager to apply what she learns in a practical setting.
At school, Corinne is part of the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) club and has held leadership positions for the past two years. She enjoys creating an inclusive space where women in STEM fields feel supported and encouraged. Corinne also helps lead outreach events that bring middle and high school students into the engineering building to learn STEM concepts through fun activities. Outside of school, she volunteers at a canine rescue in York and enjoys caring for animals, especially dogs and cats.
This internship is helping Corinne gain a broader perspective on the paths she can pursue within her major. She is especially excited to learn more about metal additive manufacturing, explore research opportunities, and connect with others who share similar interests. Coming from a smaller school, she values the opportunity to network and gain experience in a larger research setting.
